Trying To Find Stuff To Do...

So this is what happens when my latest internet obsession addiction (Tumblr) has been down for a day.

I suppose I should apologize for not blogging since September, but I think that all of my blog followers have either forgotten about me or don't check Blogger anymore. I will apologize to myself for not keeping up with this blog, because it really helps me improve my writing I've noticed. I've migrated to another blogging (Or, I guess you could call it micro-blogging) site called Tumblr. It's quite lovely really. It's like Narnia in a way. Or Hogwarts. I haven't been able to access the website since I came home from babysitting last night, and when you try to go on Tumblr you receive this message; "We'll be back shortly."

Lies.

Here I am, drinking some holiday flavored (Peppermint!!) coffee, wearing Star Wars pj pants, listening to some hipster music, and actually keeping up with Twitter. I've also been productive. I've finished the book I was reading, and I plan on doing some homework/studying around 6ish. I needed a break from school work, and that is why I am here laying my life out for anyone who cares to see.

This semester in school is almost over. Being a high schooler is less spectacular than I thought it was going to be. Sure, there are more perks, and the classes are somewhat harder, but I don't feel that different. I enjoy most of my classes, and my teachers are cool. I'm going to be a bit sad when the last day of this semester comes and I have to leave some of my classes. The two I'm most sad about are Health and Computing in the Modern World. I've grown to like the teachers and the classes are definitely entertaining.

I'm excited for finals. I feel prepared, and I haven't even studied a bit yet. I have my studying planned out though. I also plan on trying harder in AP Human Geo. (We got a new teacher who is supersupersuper easy, and I honestly think that if I don't do some outside work I'm going to fail the AP exam at the end of the year.) Maybe actually reading our textbook? Yes.

I have some Youtube to catch up on.

Do you ever feel like...

Do you ever feel like you don't have what it takes?

I feel like that a lot lately. I have all of these huges plans for my life, but I can't find the motivation it's gonna take to get off my ass and actually work for these things. I set myself up to work hard. I signed up for all honors/AP classes, I sign up for all of this volunteer work, I plan to join a bunch of clubs, but I just don't work hard.

I'm sure I've mentioned before that I want to be a Disney Imagineer. A lot of people don't understand how hard of a career that is to get into. I know it's what I want to do, but I'm so darn lazy, and I procrastinate so much.

A lot of my friends don't have problems like this. Stuff just comes easily to them. They make friends easily, they don't gain weight quickly, they get good grades, etc. They have motivation though, and I'm lacking that for some reason.

I do have to work hard if I'm gonna go to school in California or Florida. My parents informed me that they have no money saved up for my college fund. Great. >.<

School's going well. Physical Fitness isn't really as bad as it seemed. Health started out bad, but I like the teacher now. I have this thing where I want to win a teacher over, and I'll take the entire year to do it. She commented on the paper I wrote her today, so I feel like I can cross her off my list of teachers to win over. :P Biology is one of my favorite classes. We have a project that's due in November and I already have it planned out. I really want to exceed in that class. Computing in the Modern World is super easy, and the class is a block so the day goes by faster. AP Human Geography is still my favorite class, and she's my favorite teacher despite what any other student says. Spanish is still a joke and completely easy.

Hooray!

Also, sorry for failing completely at BEDA. Oops.

I Missed Day 2 of BEDA

D:
I've already failed.

Let's see, it's 11:14. I have 44 more minutes to get this blog post in before August 3 is over.

What's new?

I start high school on Friday. I'm FREAKED OUT!

My aunt, cousins, and uncle left to go back to China this morning. I'll miss them, and I won't get to see them for another two years.

We ordered my real contacts today, and I got a bag from American Eagle to use as a school bag. It's a really good size, and I love it.

Annnnd, I have to go finish my Summer Reading project. Farewell!

BEDA: Woooo

By the time I finish writing this it'll probably be August 2, but it still counts.
Hello! My name is Jamie. This is my blog, and BEDA starts NOW!

*Applause.*

I'm listening to Darren Criss. He's the dude who plays Harry in AVPM and AVPS. His music is southing. It makes me feel calm, and trust me when I say that I need to feel calm right now.

I start high school on Friday, and I'm scared. I'm scared that I won't have any friends in my classes. I'm scared that the classes will be too hard. I signed up for all honors classes. Lucky for me the only two honors classes I have for the first semester are Honors Biology and AP Human Geography. I don't have Accelerated Math or Honors Literature until second semester, but I do have P.E for second period. I'm not looking forward to that at all. I hate P.E, and it's just icing on the mother effing cake to have it first thing in the morning. I'm gonna be in a horrible, sweaty mood for the rest of the day.

So, I got into this conflict with a girl. Our relationship is kind of hard to explain, but basically she thought I was her best friend, but I really didn't like her. This conflict was over Twitter (Hah, stupid right? Blah. Internet drama.) and Emma was there supporting me and being witty. So, it ended badly and I blocked her. You would think blocking her is a mature decision right? Well, not according to her.

I went on my friends Twitter profile and accidentally clicked on the girl-who-I-had-conflict-with's name. I was linked to her profile, and I saw her latest tweet. It pissed me off.

"#thingsuglypeopledo LIE, jump you on the internet, block you so you can't do anything, then claim they were right. and i'm talking about ugly personalities."

1. Yeah, I lied. Our entire friendship was basically a lie. I was a push over during middle school. I let people walk all over me, including her. I took a stand. She has every right to be mad. I'm pretty mad at her too, but you don't see me posting crap on Twitter (A social networking site were ANYONE in the world can see your tweets.) about her.

2. Jump her on the internet? I'm not even gonna go there. Lawl.

3. Block you so you can't do anything? I blocked her to stay away from stuff like this. I think it was a pretty mature thing for me to do. If she wants to talk to me so badly, then she can text me. She has my number, and I'd rather not have my personal business on Twitter anymore. It's my decision. The block button is there for a reason.

4. I never claimed I was "right." There was no way to even be right in the situation. We were ending our relationship. I don't get it.

It's just put me in a bad mood lately. I've been staying away from her profile since the whole conflict, and then ONE mistake ruined it all. I was in a great mood until I saw that tweet. :(

I don't want you to think I'm playing the victim, because I was a bitch to her. She was also a bitch too. I mean, she brought her nana into the situation. She's a nice woman!

I also ended a "friendship" with another girl. I want to start high school off new without anything holding me back. I felt like I only grew close to her because she was in a lot of my classes, and she talked to me. I'm not a very social person, so I didn't really have a lot of friends in 7th grade. 8th grade was a bit different, but not so much.

RANT OVER

So yes, I start high school on Friday. I'm still not finished with my summer reading project. *Sigh*

My family are leaving to go back to China early Wednesday morning. I honestly don't feel that bad about them leaving. Their views are really different from mine, and we run into conflict about that a lot. And they don't have table manners. Maybe it's because they live in China, but they like to talk about some pretty gross stuff at the dinner table. Loudly. Usually when we go to restaurants. People stare. It makes me feel awkward.

And they make fun of me for my Glee/Chris Colfer/Harry Potter/Avatar The Last Airbender/Internet obsessions. It's to the point where I want to claw their eyes out. They just give me so much crap about it. They also make sure to express their opinions on the LGBTQ community when I'm around, and all I can do is bite my tongue and keep from cutting their heads off like the Headless Horseman. Trust me, I want to, but my mom sends me these warning looks that say "If you say anything I'm going to ground you for 251346316136143 years."

And my two cousins sleep with the dogs at night. Max and Honey. They ALWAYS sleep in my bed. It just...makes me mad. Blah.

Well, yeah. I don't have much to add. I'm not in the best of moods, and I'm pretty sure you could tell.

The Happiest Place on Earth really is a suitable name for Disney World.

I'm on a Disney high.

Yesterday, my uncle got me, my sister, and my mom into Disney World for free. He's a Disney cast member, so he can get a certain amount of people in for free at a time. His girlfriend got my cousin and my aunt in. We went to Hollywood studios and Magic Kingdom.

I've been to Disney World multiple times. All my life I've had a family member who was a Disney cast member. My dad, my Grandma, my Uncle, and my other Uncle. When my dad worked for Disney we would go every other weekend. My parents loved shopping at Downtown Disney and Main Street USA. Anyways, I always knew that anyone who goes to Disney as much as we do has to have at least one horrible trip, and yesterday was our horrible trip.

Yesterday morning I woke up at six A.M. I was super excited and immediately started getting dressed and packing everything up so we could check out of our hotel room. We were running late, and we got to my grandparents house at 8:40 AM. My uncle was stuck in traffic, and we finally left the house around 9:30 AM and got to the park around 10:20 AM. We decided to head to Hollywood Studios first, and we split up to go ride some rides. I was with my sister and mom, and we were going to ride Tower of Terror and Rock'n Roller Coaster. When we walked over there Katie wouldn't ride the ride, and my mom gets motion sickness. I didn't want to ride the rides alone. My mom decided to go find somewhere that sold motion sickness medicine and a locker to put her camera case in. It took about 40 minutes to finish all of that, and my sister was developing a headache. We had to go to the First Aid area and get my sister some medicine for her headache. My mom and I went to stand in the 80 minute line for Rock'n Roller Coaster, and my sister was too sick so she waiting outside the line. We finally got on the ride after waiting in the heat for an hour, and then we got out and my other family members joined us. My mom didn't ride Tower of Terror (She hates it) so she waited outside with my cousin and sister as I rode the ride with my uncle and aunt.

They re-did the Tower of Terror, and I really miss the older version. I'm not gonna spoil it for anyone who hasn't seen it yet, but I thought it was cheesy. The drops were still pretty epic. :D

We got off and decided to go over to the Magic Kingdom. Things seemed to be going great. We got in with no problems, my mom got some great pictures of the castle, we got my mom a birthday pin, and my sister and cousin got a stroller to ride around in. Then my mom dropped one of her favorite camera lenses, and it broke. My aunt said that it would be fixable, but my mom is still very upset. Then we decide to go to Tomorrowland and ride Space Mountain. We soon find out that the fast passes are sold out, and the ride was down for a long time. We go over to the Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor instead. It was really good, but my sister was starting to feel worse. As soon as we exit the Laugh Floor it starts storming. We're stuck sitting under a cover for about 30 minutes. My sister felt like garbage, and my cousin was extremely hyper. The rain/thunder/lightning finally let up, and we went over to the tea cups. I rode it with my cousin and aunt, and my mom was going to take my sister back to First Aid. When we got off, we found my mom who told us that they didn't go to first aid. My cousin decided she wanted to ride the go cart ride, and I went with her.

We waited in line in front of these really annoying people who had no clue what personal space was. The kids kept bumping into me and my cousin, and they were right on top of us the entire wait. We finally got to the end of the line and got in our car. We had a completely spazzed out car, and the steering wheel wouldn't work. We kept running into the metal pole keeping the car on track, and the car was jerking around a lot. There was a line of people behind us because we were going so slow. When we finally got to the end of the ride the cast members offered us another car to drive, and my cousin absolutely loved it. While we were on the track we saw another car doing the exact same thing ours was.

After the ride we found my mom, sister, and aunt. My aunt and sister went to the First Aid area and got my sister some medicine. We decided to leave the park and go to Downtown Disney the next day to do our souvenir shopping. When we got on Main Street my mom realized that my sister might not be feeling up to doing anything the next day, so we did some shopping around Main Street. My mom got two key chains (One for her, one for my dad, who couldn't come on vacation with us.) , two magnets, a Mickey Mouse head that goes on top of your car antenna, and a Mickey Mouse pancake mold. I got a Buzz Lightyear pillow/stuffed animal thing. I collect these things. I have Chip, Dale, and Jack from A Nightmare Before Christmas. My sister started feeling better, and she got a Pluto stuffed animal. When we were finished shopping my sister felt a lot better, and we decided to stay. We went over to Adventureland, and my sister and cousin rode the Aladin ride as I got some pictures. We went to Frontierland where we went into a store absolutely full of Disney pins. I'm a pin fanatic, and I got a special Mickey Mouse pin that opens up like a locket and a Jedi Mickey pin. We then went to eat at Starlight Rays Cosmic Cafe, and we got some pictures around the castle.

We were then going to leave, but my sister wanted to ride more rides. My aunt left with her to ride some stuff, my mom went on her own to take pictures, and I went with my cousin to watch the parade and fireworks, because I secretly wanted to watch them too. I had my cousin on my shoulders during the parade so she could see. I didn't see a lot of the parade, but what I did see was really awesome. We got a good standing place for the fireworks, and I held my cousin on my hip during them. They really stepped up the fireworks. I will always miss Wishes, but I loved what they changed. It's always great to see something new, and I even teared up at certain points.

I then went to search for the rest of the family, and we went back to the tea cups. I got some more pictures, and then we decided to leave. As we were leaving the parade started again (They have two showings. One before the fireworks and one after), and we stayed so that my mom, sister, and aunt could watch. We got a front row seat, and I absolutely loved it. I had a huge smile on my face, I waved to every character. I even blew a kiss to Cinderella. Apparently it was the same parade that they used when my aunt was a kid, which is really cool. Then we left. We drove back to my aunts house, and I crashed in my cousin's pink, princess bed.

I finally figured out what I want to do with my life. I've always been a Disney fanatic, but it didn't hit me until yesterday that I want to be a Disney Cast member when I'm older. I have no idea what I'm going to do, but I would love to be in the parks. I don't want to operate the rides or clean up after everyone for my entire life, but I would love to dress up as a princess, movie star, or any other character for the day. I'm not talking about the characters who put on the big Mickey Mouse costumes and stand around for pictures, I mean the performers. The entire time I was walking around the park I wanted to say "Happy Birthday!" or "Hello, Princess!" to everyone I passed. I wanted to help the crying kids out. I just love the place so much, and I would love to be a part of the magic every day. Even though we had our worst trip ever it was still an amazing experience. It's a wonder how Disney can do that. :)

Anyways, that took a long time to type. My mom and dad have said that they want to plan a trip in February for my birthday. The weather is usually perfect, and less people are there. <3

Just A Blog

I'm starting high school on August 6th, so I've decided to start out fresh and new. Middle school was NOT a good time for me, and I just don't want all of the problems that I had to deal with in middle school to go on in high school.

Some of the friends I grew close with these past two years weren't the best friends to have. I started Venture (Advanced) classes, and I had very few classes with my friends from 6th grade. So, I grew close to these Venture friends, and ignored some of my friends. I wasn't a very happy person in 7th grade, and I really wasn't myself. 8th grade was better. I found God again, and made some better relationships, but I still kept the older not as good relationships. This Summer I made the decision to rid myself of these friendships, and that plan has been going well. My phone broke, and I can't text/call anyone, and I haven't been talking with these people as much.

I've fixed a friendship with the awesomenest of people though, so it's all good. :)

Speaking of high school, I want to be as drama free as possible. That's another reason why I'm trying to grow apart with these people. They are full of drama, and it's annoying.

Plus, they aren't nerdy. They make fun of my nerdyness. They don't get how I love Harry Potter/Glee/Avatar The Last Airbender/John Green/etc. It's sad

Anyways, bye. :P

Jamie's Saving Stuff From The Fire That's Burning Her House Down!!

Hey guys! Sorry I haven't really been blogging for a while. I don't really have an excuse other than me just not being in a bloggy mood. Anyways, I've been catching up on a lot of YouTube videos today. I was watching some Five Awesome Girls videos, and they had a theme where they told everyone 10 things that they would save from their house if it was on fire. I decided that it seemed like a fun idea, and made a list of stuff I would save. :)

1. Pinky
Pinky is a Precious Moments doll that my grandma gave me when I was eight (The year she died.) Since I was born I've always owned a Pinky, and I'm pretty sure I went through about five of them before I got the one I own currently. When I was little I would bring her everywhere with me. She holds a lot of memories, and she's pretty much the only thing left to remind me of my grandmother. (Besides pictures...)

2. My The Last Airbender Movie Posters
Yes, the movie sucked, but I own nothing else Avatar: The Last Airbender related. The show is just another one of my obsessions, but it means a lot more to me than that. The posters were the first things I got from Ebay. Haha.

3. My Guitar
I got it for Christmas, and I've been taking lessons since January. I love it, and it's a way for me to escape from everything.

4. Blanket From Italy
When my mom was a child my Grandaddy was in the air force. They traveled all over the world, and she lived in Italy when she was 5-7 years old. While there her family got three blankets from Italy. This Easter my Grandaddy brought them here and I was allowed to keep one. I've used it every night ever since, and it holds a lot of sentimental value. Plus, it's really warm and comfy.

5. My Dogs
3 of them. Max, Honey, and Beau. They're part of the family. They have to come.

6. Glee: Season 1 Part 1
Glee is so much more than an obsession for me. It's given me so much, and I have no idea how I would survive if I couldn't watch my favorite episodes at will.

7. Signed Copy of An Abundance of Katherine's
For my 13th birthday my friend Moze sent me a signed copy of this book. The book is one of my favorites, and it's signed by freaking John Green! It's one of my prized possessions. :)

8. Disney Pin Collection
I have some limited edition pins, and some that are newer but still mean a lot to me. I'm a Disney nerd.

9. Disney Hoodie
I got it during one of the best weeks of my life, Orlando Mission Trip. I made some new friends. We helped out an entire community. We all grew closer to God. It was just...amazing. This is the only thing I have from the trip. (Other than the shirt that everyone got. It says "Living Sacrifice, and I would save it too.) I wore it almost every day since I bought it. (It was $50.00 o.O)

10. My purse
It has my cell phone, my camera, my wallet, my MP3 player, my notebook/planner, the book I'm currently reading, and other day to day necessities.

So yeah. There you go. :)

We're Gonna Start A Revolution

I believe in and love God. I go to church every Sunday and most Wednesdays. I figure I should just get that out there in the open. I'm not what some consider a "stereotypical Christian." I'm pretty open minded, I support gay rights, I'm not gonna force my religion on you, and I'm gonna love you no matter what you believe in (Unless you annoy me or something. :P). I'm not religious, because religion is all about rules, rituals, and regulations. I am simply a child of God.

I started going to this church in September, and I immediately loved it. The people were real. They weren't cookie cutter fabulous. They were there to reconnect with their Lord and really listen and learn from the sermon. The middle school pastor really connected with his students. He knew how to get them to shut up and really listen to the message that he was trying to get across. When we would worship together I would get moved to the point of tears. All around the room you would see hands lifted to God. Keep in mind that these are middle schoolers who usually don't stop talking long enough to actually pay attention to anything important. I've seen a lot of kids actually devote their life to God, and I've seen so many lives changed in this church. I've made a lot of really close friends, and I've had a few life changing experiences there.

Anyways, the middle school Wednesday night church service, Revolution, ended this past Wednesday. I'm pretty upset. I would go on Wednesdays to relieve the stress of school, drama, family, etc. I would go to worship, and see some of my friends. Another sad thing is that I'm never gonna get to go to Revolution again. In two weeks I'm leaving middle school behind and moving onto high school. The church has a high school service every Sunday night called Reckless, and we were invited to go to Reckless this Sunday. They're trying to help us soon-to-be-ninth graders move into high school and get connected with the high school group/service.

I want to go on Sunday, but I'm kind of nervous. This Friday my group leader moved to Tennessee, and she was the one who was going to take me to Reckless and introduce me to some of the high schoolers she knows. I was planning to Facebook contact one of my friends who goes to Reckless and ask if she would mind helping me out tomorrow night, but I don't know how to word the message the right way. I could just say "Hey, the 8th graders were invited to Reckless, and I was wondering if you would mind helping me get connected" but that sounds stupid in my opinion. My friend said that she might come to Reckless with me tomorrow, but I have no idea if she's going to follow through, and I do not want to go by myself. As I stated in my first blog, I'm not very....social. I'm kinda scared when it comes to introducing myself to a group of people, and it seems like all of the high schoolers at Reckless already know each other.

Speaking of friends...I miss some of mine. You know who you are. I love you all, and I think we all need to talk. Soon. I'm starting to get annoyed with some other people, but I say this all the time and never do anything about it. I think I need help if I'm actually going to do anything. I really want to drift away from some of the people I consider "friends" now, because I just feel like I don't connect with them anymore. I want to obsess over Harry Potter, John Green, YouTube, and books, but all they seem to want to talk about is bands who, frankly in my opnion, aren't very good. Maybe my tastes have changed. Teenagerhood is all about finding out who you really are, and right now I'm a Nerdfighter. I want to talk about the latest FiveAwesomeGirls YouTube video or John Green's latest book, and nobody else I hang out with anymore wants to talk about that stuff. Alas, I'm too nice of a person and I'm not going to actually follow through with this whole drifting away idea, unless I find some help.

It's not everyone though. I still love certain people (Chantal, you are one of these people. :) I don't know if you're gonna read this though, and if you do then you should make a blog. That would be cool.)

I think I hear my mom walking down the stairs, and she told me that she's gonna steal the computer. Oh no! :O Anywas, I need to read this book that I have a project for. (It's due Thursday. I haven't even started the book, and you wonder why the title of my blog is Procrastination?)

I love you all. :D

Cookies

I came home from school today, and I slept.
I came home, threw my stuff on the floor, and climbed into bed. I slept from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM. I am so effing tired lately. I didn't go to school on Monday, because I was tired and felt like crap. I had to stay at school until around 8:30 PM Tuesday because of our musical. I didn't get home until 9:00 PM Wednesday, because I had to go to church. I came home and slept on Thursday, and alas, it is Friday.

New blog, new introductions? I believe the answer is yes.

Hello! My name's Jamie. :)
I'm obsessed with Harry Potter, Avatar The Last Airbender, Glee, Star Wars, Disney, and ze internet. I like Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter, 'cause I have no life. I'm a vegetarian and I like to read. Some of my favorite authors are John Green, J.K Rowling, Sarah Dessen, etc. I like music. All music, except for Country. :P I constantly have my earphones in, and my top three favorite artists/bands are All Time Low, Chiodos, and NeverShoutNever. I like everything from Wrock to Metalcore. From Bach to Classic Rock. From Broadway to Indie, but like I said, I don't like Country. Bleh.

I'm kinda quiet and antisocial out in the real world, but I'm pretty much the opposite of that when I'm online. I'm usually one of the quiet people at school. I read instead of interacting with other people.

Enough of that.

Sorry for the shortness of this blog. It's just kinda an introductory blog, because I've been wanting to blog more. You know what they say, slow and steady wins the race. :D
